Our Denver Snowmobile Rentals allow you to experience the Rocky Mountains’ backcountry at your own pace, with over 55,000 acres of terrain to explore at Vail Pass. This marked trail network consists of more than 50 miles of pristinely groomed trails, with virtually limitless opportunities to ride open, powder-filled bowls and meadows along the way.
Whether you set out on maintained trails or choose to blaze your own through untouched powder, Self Guided Snowmobile Rentals allow you to select the terrain you’d like to explore. Along the way you’ll be treated to spectacular vistas of the Gore Mountain Range as you ascend to elevations of over 12,000 feet along the Continental Divide.
The Vail Pass Winter Recreation Area offers a tremendous array of terrain to explore, with spectacular Snowmobile Rental opportunities available for experienced and non-experienced riders alike. Full-Day and Half-Day Rentals are available with options for both single and double riders.
Snowmobile Rental check-in takes place in the town of Frisco, located just one hour and 15 minutes drive from downtown Denver. From here, snowmobiles are trailered to the summit of Vail Pass, where your snowmobiling adventure begins. Helmets, snowsuits and boots are included with all Snowmobile Rentals.
Full-Day Snowmobile Rentals offer 7 hours of riding and begin at 9:00 am daily. Half-Day Rentals offer 3 hours of snowmobiling and begin at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm daily. We request that guests check-in 45 minute prior to Snowmobile Rental times.

- Denver Snowmobile Rentals include helmets, snowsuits and boots.
- Snowmobile Rental prices do not include gas, tax or National Forest Service user fees of $6 per person.
- Snowmobile Drivers must be 15 years of age or older.
- A credit card imprint, serving as a damage deposit, is required on all Denver Snowmobiling Rentals.
- A signed liability waiver is required for each participant prior to departure.
- Please keep in mind that all Denver Snowmobile Rentals feature a 72-hour cancellation policy. This applies to both the complete cancellation of a party's reservation as well as any individual group members who cancel within 72 hours.
